GLOBAL HANDS OF HEALING medical mission volunteers have brought health, vision and dental care to more than 12,500 people in Mexico, Guatemala, Panama and Nicaragua since its first mission trip in 1999.
Teams of physicians, nurses, dentists,
translators and other volunteers have brought relief to
people suffering from the lack of health care that most of us
take for granted. By treating general aches and pains, as well as
chronic diseases – such as diabetes, heart disease, leprosy,
tooth decay, parasites and vision problems – dozens of teams of
volunteers have brought healing and hope to people in some
of the most impoverished villages and cities in the Western Hemisphere.
Hands of Healing needs volunteers and
donations to bring health care to more
people who otherwise would go without treatment.
